Hi,
I've just loaded Daniels ccf into prontoNG and run the simulation and it looks fantastic, will it look the same on the actual device?

In my experience, if is a CCF that was four shades for a 1000 or 2000 it will look OK, but if it was a color CCF then probably not because the shading detail does not show as well on the remote as it does in the simulator. Daniels may look fine either way. If a button has light shading on it, then it will appear as white on the remote. You will need lots of contrasts in your buttons. Lots of times white lettering that looks fine in the simulator can't hardly be read on the remote.

I agree with Archer. That being said I have converted and adjusteded a bunch of Daniels color buttons by hand to be used in my 3000 pcf.
I have the Home page VCR/DVD controls some of the smaller long device icons used for selecting a device.
My pcf is not finished but it's getting there. Nothing original I borrowed stole, copied I prefer borrowed :) heavily from Archer and Daniels bitmaps. I am not an artist and it shows. I see no way I can make better design concepts than these guys so I use the background of their buttons and just change the icons and text to better suit me. I will make copies available as soon as I get it a little more done. Hopefully by the end of day today.

I haven't seen this CCF, but I do know in uploading my previous 2000 CCF to the 3000, most of the colors were light. Even though my monitor and emulator showed them as perfect. I had to darken everything in Photoshop to satisfy my needs. The brightness button on the 3000 doesn't solve it since it makes everything darker, including the background.
