The battery life on the 3000 sucks. I get about 2 weeks on a new set of Duracell's but I do have the backlight set to a fairly long period.

In my 1000 a set of batteries would last for months, so I never got the charger. I am going to get the charger for the 3000 as soon as it is available.

I had the same issue, until they correct it turn animation off so the windows don't draw as they resize.

Makes a huge difference.

Me too, turn animation off. This stops the screen from redrawing while resizing between pages. Until they fix the bug this makes a huge improvment. In the setup page 2/3 set Animation to None.
