ocos, no functions were canceled in NG, the NG was a totally new remote and some of the functions just got forgotten. As to how it worked in CCF based remotes, it is the same way, you have to press the same button again. Except for the Marantz remotes, the other remotes in the Pronto family (TS-1000, 2000, 6000, RAV-2000, Chad) only had one jump that occurred at the end of the macro, so it was not a problem.

Thank You for the reply. I did not noticed, that I could stop the macro by pressing the same soft button again on other remotes. I works.

But the missing function is a stop button automaticaly generated (only on macro, not on a devise template). This button is labeled "stop" a is on the right hard button under the screen. With this button you can stop any execution in any screen started by any button. I tested this function on RU940 (TS2000), ProntoPro (TS6000), Marantz 5200 and Chad.

Yes, but how can you stop a long running (2 minutes plus) macro on a TSU7500? Pressing the same button repeatedly doesn't seem to do it.

There were problems with double-presses and I believe that Philips may have eliminated that feature. For sure, the 2nd press will NOT cancel if you've done a Page Jump.

GREAT. Yes I can abort a macro with the tsu7500 with a double press of the macro if I remove the page jump to a secondary macro. That helps a lot.
Now if I could only remember which macro I've pressed as the pressed state doesn't stay on for the duration of the macro. I wish there was a way around that even if it ment sacrificing multiple page jumps. (smile)
