In ProntoEdit4 or Touch Screen Setup is a stop button automaticaly generated when executing a long macro. I could not find this in ProntoEditNG. Is there no possibility to stop sending IR/RF with TSU3000 (RU950)?

Thanks a lot for your help!

From the Philips Page:

New in version 2.2.23
New functionality:

***Playing of a macro can be interrupted by pressing the same button again. ****

Haven't tried it.

Let me know if it works.

Willy.

Thank You Willy for Your quick answer.

The latest version on Philips page for RU950 is RU950__V2.1.5.

This update find a V2.1.5 and updated to V2.1.5.0

Pressing the same button again did not stop the macro.

So I hope, this very usefull feature will work with the next update, as You described.

Is there anybody reading this, who has a TS3000 with version 2.2.23 to try this out?

Thank you all.

Well I just tried it. And No, it doesn't stop the macro. The button beeps but nothing else happens.

They say that I can press the same button to stop the macro but you have to wait until the macro finishes.

Willy.

Hmm, seems to stop it in the TSU3000's emulator, at least. The RU950 does not yet have a firmware update (I should think that 2.1.5 is the same as 2.1.5.0 or 2.1.5.0.0.0.0.0)

Could it be Hard buttons vs soft? Maybe the stop function only works on hard or just on soft?????

Thank You all for following this important function. I hope, Philips reads this.

All other Philips and Marantz Types can stop a macro.

Pressing the same button twice does stop a macro from executing on my 3000 (using latest firmware). However, there appears to be a trick (read that anomaly) in getting it to do so. After pressing the button with the macro I have to wait about a half second or so, then press again (sometimes I have to press it 2 or 3 times in succession at this point). Eventually the macro does stop executing.

RU950 with new 2.3.9

Pressing the same button twice does stop a macro from executing. However, there appears to be a trick (read that anomaly) in getting it to do so. After pressing the button with the macro I have to wait about a half second or so, then press again (sometimes I have to press it 2 or 3 times in succession at this point).

Only the soft buttons stopped a macro. If there is a jump in the macro, there is no chance to press the soft button again.

In ProntoEdit4 or Touch Screen Setup is a stop button automaticaly generated when executing a long macro. Why is this function canceled in NG? Or could it be included in "special actions"? But all buttons are locked during the execution of a macro.

I hope Philips reads this.
