i just got the 3000, it knows my Sony DVD and ReplayTV, but not my Sony HDTV, Sony VCR, or Sony Receiver. It learns the codes really easily, but does not seem to be storing them when i use the software editor. i also imported a ccf i found for my TV, it has the discretes, but they aren't being saved after being pasted in.

Anyone else having this issue, or tell me what dummy thing i'm doing wrong?

Also, when it learns, the name gets overwritten by the discrete code for some reason.

Guess i should have tried this before posting.

When you learn through the PENG it makes the name the discrete code, if you leave that as the name, it saves it for the next time you come back, and it works.

Could this be a "feature" ahem bug?

My PCF has disretes for Sony DVD NS700P, Reveiver STR-DE1075, and HDTV KP-57HW (includes discretes for normal, wide zoom, power, and 6 video inputs).

If you would like a copy, let me know and I will send it out.
