Daniel - pending your typical full review, can you provide any early thoughts on the physical hardware? For example, how does it feel in the hand (quality of build/weight), how does the screen look, what is the performance like?

Backlight: Much nicer than current models. Can't comment too much on screen quality yet until I can get some known graphics into the thing (early unit, doesn't seem to like PENG).

Speed: Perhaps slightly faster than the current Pronto, but once again this is an early unit that I know has a lot of issues. A big help to speed is being able to disable all system animations.

Build: Seems sturdy, but they still haven't recreated the "comfortable to hold" factor of the original Pronto...

have you done the MTFB test yet?

is it as capricious at learning as the NEO or is it as easy as the Pronto?

but they still haven't recreated the "comfortable to hold" factor of the original Pronto...

Know hat you mean :-(. Until they decide to go back to a convex back instead of the usual concave one seen on most remotes.
