I have found a site that has hacks for most dvd players.

My DVD is a Sony DAV-S550 and the only way to make it region free is using a special remote. The guys on this site have found the codes witch will work through a package called "Omniremote" on a palm based PDA. I don't have a Palm PDA and would like to use my TSU6000 to do the hack. Below are the codes for the buttons I need which work in Omniremote (file extension is .pdb)

Anyone know how if these will work in the tsu6000 or how to make them work.

use the one on this site for the RDR_GX7 the ccf for that unit should do the trick, also i dont beleive it will work with the US versions od Sony gear

All the files for that unit are in pcf format and I need ccf for the TSU6000.

Nobody seems to be able to convert backwards from pcf to ccf either.

You can copy and paste codes from a PCF into a CCF.

hi all,

I'm having trouble using the ccf files. I have downloaded the one you suggested but there weren't any skin attached to it so I added a panel in pronto software and linked the keys 1-5 + power off to a clickable skin. When I upload the ccf on my pocket pc (with pda win), the skin displays correctly but when I press on 1-5 keys, my dvd player does not react. It seems that nothing is being sent to the DVD player. I tried to make my Pocket PC learn signals coming out of my real remote, the result is that the 1-5 keys are working but not sending the unlock codes anymore.

has anyone any idea of how I can make this work ?
