Can someone lead me to somewhere that I can purchase a connector for my Pronto? Unfortunately I move & I can no longer find the connector / cable which came with my Pronto 2000. I have loaded Pronto edit & I have tried another serial cable device (which I found laying around) but it does not work (Pronto edit will not recognize my device). Thanks for any help in advance.

The connecter that you found laying around. What was it made for? I personaly don't know what connection cord can be crossed between what devices. But someone on here does.

Also, if you have a way to test the leads, to see what wire goes were on each end. Then you can use this diagram to find out if it would really work or not.

Unfortunately, the connector I found was one that had been in a box for awhile. I'm not sure what it was used for (maybe an older address PDA type device). Is there a link to buy an accessory for the Pronto? I've looked all over and cannot find one .........

Thanks!

No, but you might be able to buy an old digicam cable (see the FAQ for the model number). Otherwise, typically there's two different headphone-style serial cables, one with RECEIVE in the tip and the other with TRANSMIT in the tip.
