Well, not really. But Lisa said there are "places that repair the Pronto". Maybe she'll respond and tell us which one Philipps uses to obtain their refurbished models. LOL

Whom Philips uses is unknown to me. When I said there are places that repair, I was refering to those that posted the ability to do so in the forum here.
I would never recommend one place over another, or single out one location that did repairs. Only noted that the information was available if searched for.
Sorry it took so long to answer..I ... ummmmm lost the thread. And I try so hard NOT to look like an idiot. :)

Marantz are Philips! So if Philips don't repair Pronto also Marantz don't repair it I think!! I have a little scratch on the display but I hate it!!! Now I try to repair it by myself !!! LET'S OPEN MY PRONTO.........

This whole thread has been scary, funny, happy, sad, frustrated, thrilled, mad, etc. How about an OFFICIAL response from Phillips? I would like to know what their policy is before making a decision. Thanks.
