I have a Kenwood VR-2090 with the neat yet frustrating PowerPad remote. Anyone out there have experience using the Pronto as its replacement?

Also: go to www.conceptkitchen.com and look into their plastic PDA screen protectors... I use them on my Philips Nino (and used to use them on my Newton), and they work great.

Speaking of which... anyone know of any WindowsCE or PalmPilot software that will turn my PDA into a universal remote? :)

David,

I acn't think of any reason why the Pronto couldn't replace your Kenwood. Probably more ergonomic, probably more powerful, probably easier to hold and to use.

I believe the remote control come with Kenwood is a 2 way remote control. Pronto should have problem with it. At least it will loose some capability.

Same problem will happen with new Sony TA-E9000ES digital preamp.
