Just got this email from Jack Schultz of Metronet:

"First, the bad news: I was unable to ship your Pronto as I didn't get my shipment. It seems that UPS has "lost" the box. I hope Pronto's don't end up the same way that RC2000's did last holiday season....approximately 1/3 getting "lost" by UPS and FedEx....never found.

The good news is that I will have a replacement shipment no later than Tuesday which is when yours will ship. They will put them in an unmarked box this time, rather than "advertising to the world" what's inside."

Oops!

The unit is blue, or the backlight? I've noticed that about the IR emitter too. I was fast-forwarding commercials, and someone walked in front of the VCR. "Oh great" I think, since normally the signal will be cut and it'll stop. But nothing happened - it continued. So, in testing I had someone standing right in front it (2-3' away) and it still worked! About the same effect on the IR receiver. It seems to work behind a sheet of paper, under blankets, etc.

No, Metronet is an HT dealer in Chicago. His current shipment is all pre-sold.
