Hi,

I've upgraded my PC on Windows 7 32bits few months ago and just re-installed Touch Screen Setup 2.0.4 (for a Marantz RC5000i).

Everything worked smoothly until I tried to set a new discrete code through Touch Screen Setup > Set IR. Then the software crashed.
And whatever settings, it always crash: compatibility XP SP3, XP SP2 or 95 and Run as administrator.

Do you have the same behavior?
Any idea how to fix it?

It's the only issue I have. Other than that everything is working well (download, upload and all the other design features).

Thanks for you help! :-)

Install Microsoft Virtual PC and then an image of XP. Run XP and TSS from there. See Window7 64 bit threads here in NG forum for tips on moving forward.

I simply installed Touch Screen Setup 2.0.4 and had no problems. I always wonder why these things happen.

A client has an RC5200 program that crashes over and over and I'm pretty sure that some command on the remote is doing it. It restarts the remote with the original Marantz file. Ugh.

So I wonder what the discrete command is, the one that screwed up the software. Could you show us? I'm willing to crash my TSS to check it out!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Ernie, Download CCFTools from the classic pronto files section, decompile the CCF to a CSF text file. zip that and ship it to me via email.
