I knelt on the screen of my RC9200 (my wife had left it under a cushion on the sofa!!!) and the screen is buggered . Is there anyway I can replace the screen. I am a bit devastated as I love my remote and have it's customisation. I have been looking at Android infared tablets (like the samsung) but all the software I have seen doesn't seem to be learning of as customisable as the marantz/pronto. If I can't replace the screen I may have to trawl E-bay for a replacement.

Any idea's suggestions gratefully recieved

Did you search for +replace +9200 +screen (+ no longer needed these days)?

That search along with +replace +6000 +screen will provide more info. Once you get the part, check here.

Thanks for the reply. Had a trawl through google but I think replacement screens have long gone. Anyway after 3 weeks of ebay trawling got a replacement RC9200 for £36 (including postage) that is in better condition than my original RC9200, and I still have my layout on my ancient laptop so a quick download and all is good. I did have a look at touchsquid and a samsung galaxy but I'm afraid you can't beat the a learning remote. I wish someone would bring out some pronto like software for a tablet and a way of uploading ir codes via a learning method.
Now the only thing to work out is how I mute the hard keys on the remote as the Marantz software does not have the facility for this. I did it on my original remote but for the life of me cannot remember how I did it. The pronto software can do it but it is not compatable and I can't find it on Tonto either, any idea's anyone?
But I am very happy to be reunited with a my interface again as it's been refined over years and I love it. I spent weeks converting Daniels excellent .png buttons to .bmp's and I love the way it looks.

Any capability for this is in Settings on the remote. Press the 'remote' icon at top/bottom of screen and hold for 2-3 seconds and go explore. If the remote icon is not there, it may have been turned off as you made your configuration 'Protected' in the Home Page Properties.

The FAQ will have more info on protected home pages and the implications therein.

Thanks Lyndel,
All sorted now. It's been so many years since I set up the remote I had forgotten how to do it, found the setup on the remote home page.
