The 15-135 is made by Universal Electronics, and that line of remotes has a series of commands, all starting with 9, to setup the remote. 994 is the command to assign "keymoves" to a button.

9XX commands.  Also see the Wiki linked at the top of the 9XX page.

Initial report. The code 11410 works. Device now powers up and down. Now to the buttons.

Still wondering about the 994 thing.

I will report more soon.

On the list of buttons supplied above there are listings for: sharp, tint, color, vol+, Vol- and Vol mute. However these buttons don't exist on the original Panasonic remote.

Also there are buttons on the original remote for which no codes are indicated on the supplied list above: bright, contrast,+,- and most importantly, 4 arrow buttons.

Does anyone know how to reconcile all of this?

Thanks.

Those commands are all shown in my browser. Do you have some kind of limit on the display size for a post?

Here are the last few commands:
function menu 00005
system select 00133
+ (plus) 00229
- (minus) 00233
Contrast 00150
Bright 00152
Down Arrow 00235 pre-programmed in the remote from the factory
Right Arrow 00232 pre-prog
Left Arrow 00228 pre-prog
Up Arrow 00231 pre-prog

Woops, I printed the codes and must not have printed page 3. I never thought to check the actual contents of your message. Sorry to have bothered you. I am very grateful for your help in all its detail.

Will report tomorrow.
