Is it possible to program the Pronto TSU 2000 with a device like an LCD television "without" the original remote control? If so, how can this be done? Thanks.

Sorry, it's actually a projector, but here is the information and a link to some details about it. Thanks.

I emailed NEC technical support, and they say that they don't have any IR code files to download for their units. Maybe it's possible to buy a replacement remote control itself. I've tried a couple of online sites that I've found but they didn't have the correct remote for the device. I understand that other NEC remotes, in this case, may work for this particular device, but how can you tell? Thanks.

Here are some replacement remotes sites that didn't have the correct NEC remote.

The remote is a RMT-PJ01. You can buy one from NEC for $145. Cheapest I found is for $91.20 here.

If you do we maybe able to give you some hex codes to try.

There are some hex codes here but for a different remote but they may work.

Looks like the RD-364E remote is the same as the RMT-PJ01.

Yes, I do have the Pronto TSU2000.

I looked and the hex codes, and I don't understand how to input these codes into the Pronto TSU2000.

Thanks for any tips.

Have you used Philips ProntoEdit v4.0.5 before ?

Select 'Help' then the 'Index' tab. Paste 'IR code' in the window and select it from the list. Read 'Assigning an IR code' and step 4 'pasting an IR code in the IR Code text box.'
