That's the whole question.

A buddy who does offices retrieved this non-functioning remote, and of course there's about zero dollars for dealing with it. I showed that one AA cell was simply backwards and now it works with plain old batteries.

If there were a charger, we'd get a Pronto battery and be hunky-dory. Any ideas?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Ernie,

I think you are out of luck. I searched images.google.com for onkyo chad and came up with the image of a charger that pointed me to here.

Unfortunately, the dock is different than that for the RC5000/5000i and TSU1000/2000. It is also different that the dock for the TSU6000.

The CHAD is an, er, unique design... you're definitely going to need the original dock.

Wow, you are in luck. Using the part number from the above link. Voila.

Better get it quick. I'm pretty sure it will use the same 12VDC charger that the other docs use. (Classic Pronto).
