Hi,
I'm having a little bit of a problem uploading the CCF file to my Philips Pronto TS-1000 remote. I'm using ProntoEdit ver 4.0.5 and had no issues updating the firmware from the software to (Sys V3.62, App V4.85, CCF USA V1.2). Now I'm attempting to load the CCF file for my Denon AVR-5800 found on this site. When attempting to upload to RC device, I get an error message stating that the "RC Device not connected or not responding - COM1: opened but no response from RC Device"

I have made sure to tap the screen to ensure the remote is on when attempting to do the upload. I should also state that I am using a Belkin USB-Serial adapter (F5U409) set to COM1 in hardware properties.

Is there anything else I can do? As I stated above, I was able to to the firmware update no problem. Thank you in advance.

You can try using Tonto from [Link: giantlaser.com].

thanks for the suggestion. That worked!! I had to open the CCF I have in ProntoEdit to convert it to TS1000 format, but then I was able to upload it using Tonto. Thanks again!

To clarify a minor point here.

You 'download' the CCF to the remote from the computer. You 'upload' to computer from the remote.
