Thanks, I had no idea about "Template Devices". The long and the short of it, is this device is bricked to me without the use of Pronto Edit.

Luckily I have a computer running Windows 98 and it has serial ports. I ordered one of the Kodak DC210 cables to connect it and I'll do my programming that way.

You will not be able to use it standalone unless you load the default.ccf with ProntoEdit 4
