Can someone tell me how to translate the Sony 12 bit device/function IR codes to Pronto hex values I can enter in Pronto Edit?

I need to manually build about 100 Sony IR commands and learn them on another remote for a project I'm working on. The only way I know to do that is by using my Pronto to build them in Pronto Edit and then learning them on the other remote.

Some random Sony IR commands I've seen in Pronto Edit look to be about 60 bytes with a lot of repeating bytes, and I'm not able to make heads or tails of it.

Thanks for any help.

Never mind. I did what I should have done in the first place and made use of the search function. I found makehex and Irpanels. Both worked great BTW.

thanks
