This morning my TSU's screen stayed black. I unplugged and replugged the battery, I reset the unit, I charged it again, but it's a no go.
The battery is one year old and still shows a charge of 4.8V which is what it should be.

When I plug the battery back in, the screen doesn't turn on and the mute light blinks every 2 seconds with a little sublte eletronic noise and that's it.

Is my pronto dead ?

Try it in the docking station without battery installed.

You may also want to try reflashing the firmware.
