Hi Guys
Can you help my rc 5200 docking station has died i have replaced the fuse twice but with no joy i am now getting a replacement adaptor ( just in case ) but was wondering is there another cable that can be used to bypass the docking station and charge the remote directly?? or any other ideas??
Please help

You can only charge via the Docking station. You might consider contacting www.servicewidetech.com to see how much a new DS is. You can also use one for the RC9200 as well. Lyndel

Fuses don't blow for the heck of it. When you're on the phone with servicewide, ask them about that. It might indicate a fatal flaw in the remote. Heck, it could indicate a tiny piece of metal in the charger base that shorts the output when you dock the 5200. Have you cleaned the base?

IIRC, they've moved to a higher amperage rated fuse link than the one you might find in posts here. 750ma???
