By way of introduction, I have just bought a new to me, RU970 to replace my Cambridge Audio Multimedia Explorer (URC9000?).

My kit list to be controlled by the RU970 is:

Hitachi LD4200 32" LCD HD TV,
Marantz 4200 5.1 AV Amp,
Samsung DVD Player,
Thomson Sky+ satellite box.
Panasonic VHS.

So, where to locate the CCF files I need? I've not had the remote more than an hour or so, so have not got it home and programmed the devices into it yet.

I think I will be leaning heavily on the forum for help here!

Search the Files Section for Layouts and IR Codes or Learn them from the Original Remote.

For help see the Unofficial Philips Pronto & Marantz RC5000 Intelligent Remote Control FAQ.

Thanks for the links Jason, appreciated. I have the remote codes downloaded now, so how do I get them on the 970?

You need to read the Help in Pronto Edit Software and the Unofficial Philips Pronto & Marantz RC5000 Intelligent Remote Control FAQ.

If want to learn you must read or pay someone to program it for you.

There is always someone around here to help out but you need to do some leg work first and understand the basics.

Cheers
Jason
