My pronto pro has a blank screen. I tried replacing the LCD panel but it still doesn't work. The remote beeps when the screen is pressed in certain locations. It was beeping with the old LCD panel as well as the new one.
I have already tried leaving the batteries out for a few days and I have already tried resetting it and reloading the firmware, but none of these methods have worked.
I called philips and they said that it is probably the backlight that is out. Anyone know how to fix this? I know there are many threads about replacing the L1 inductor on tsu1000s, but is there a way to do this on the pronto pro? I have examined the inductors and there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with them.
Anyone have any other ideas?
