I went to a project yesterday with a TSU6000. Needed to update the remote as we changed out a CD player.

Tried to connect to the remote, but it would not connect.

I had the tip/ring/sleeve to DB9 cable, pligged into my Dell I6400 bia a ATEN USB adapter (actually tried 2 different USB adapters)

When I tried to extract the program from the remote, I got the "no connection" error.

Any ideas?

See the FAQ about a Keyspan USB Adapter. Note that your adapter must be set to have a COM port ID which is the first available in the system. For example, if it is set as COM4 and COM1,2,3 are not present, the adapter must be configured as COM1. If set as COM4 and COM1 is present, configure the adapter as COM2.

If you still need help, you may want to try a search for +USB +COM as this topic has been discussed before.
