Hi folks – I have an ageing Marantz TS5000/02 – whatever that is in Phillips parlance – and I’m very bad at programming it. Either that, or the Prontoedit manual is very bad at explaining things.

I've managed to program a macro to switch the telly from 16:9 to 4:3 when broadcasts are in that format – but somehow it stays on the TV menu after that, and I’d like it to go to the Sky one instead.

The “Jump” function kind of sounds like it should do this, but I can't get it to work.

Should I be (a) simply adding the Alias “Sky” (which is the name for the panel I've created which controls the Sky box) at the end of the macro, or (b) putting “Sky-1” in the “Jump” box at the bottom?

At the end of your macro, add the Jump, and then follow it with a Delay of 0.1 seconds.

Thanks... but what I need to know is HOW to add the jump. If I select it in the drop-down menu at the bottom, I don't see any way of adding a delay after it?

You do what I suggested using TouchScreen setup. Download the latest version from this site and don't use ProntoEdit 4.2 to do this.
