I am in the middle of building a battery pack for the Philips ProntoPro TSU6000 and was wondering if someone with this remote can take a peak at their battery .

There is a connector with a Black, Red and White wires. On the white wire there is a thermistor (looks like a diode in a glass package but its not)

My question is, does the white wire with the thermistor connect to the Black, or the Red wire?

Thanks
...Rob

In the last few days (this forum or NG forum), I saw a picture of an open battery. You might search for posts about battery for the last 30 days to see if you can find it.

Thanks, yes, I saw those pics too. Trouble is none of them were the TSU6000 and I am afraid of getting them wrong.

I just thought there might be a TSU6000 owner who could unplug their battery and take a look.
I'm not sure what would go wrong if you get the white wire wih the thermistor in the wrong polarity, but it can't be good.

The battery for 6000, 7000/7500, 3000/3500, Marantz RC9200, Marantz 9500 are ALL the same.

Also I believe there's even some text-based diagrams that have been posted to the forum of what goes where.

This'll be a whole lot easier/faster to search through when the new forum software goes up.
