I am new to the forum I have a Proto Pro TSU 6000 that has lost the light display. The remote still works if you are lucky enough to hit the correct buttons. Kind of like a blind person trying to use the remote. Can this be repaired? Any quick fixes?

Scott,

You may be out of luck finding a screen. Might suggest you also try Ebay. I have a thread here with title Replace 9200 Screen.

Here are 27 threads found by searching for +6000 +backlight.

Scott,

Specifically check this thread: [Link: remotecentral.com], that's on Lyndel's list. The screen is probably fine, but the L1 inductor needs to be replaced.
