Not sure if the terminology "repeating code" is correct, but here is what I'd like to do: I'd like to have Pronto send out a code for as long as I press a button. For example, unsing the + or - volume controls on Pronto, I'm able to adjust the volume on my Denon very nicely. However, on the Panasonic I don't seem to be able to do this. I press the button, the code gets sent out once, even if I continue pressing the button. What I'd like to see happening is that as long as I press the button, the appropriate code continues to be sent. I "re-learned" the code several times, programmed it to buttons on a panel as well as to the hard keys - no success.
I'm sure this has been covered before, but searching the forum under "repeating code" does not seem to turn up anything related to my problem.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
The code in question is the up/down arrow key on the Panasonic (up-key code below):

0000 0070 0000 0032 0080 0041 0011 000f 0011 0030 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 0030 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 0030 0011 0030 0011 000f 0011 0030 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 0030 0011 000f 0011 0030 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 0030 0011 0030 0011 000f 0011 0030 0011 000f 0011 0030 0011 0030 0011 000f 0011 000f 0011 0ac3

You can probably accomplish this by relearning the code. Many times, if you just tap the original remotes key, the learned code in the Pronto won't repeat. Try relearning, and press and hold the original button until the Pronto says learned.

If this doesn't work, one of the code experts will probably come along and offer suggestions.

The code is fine. It is a repeating code. If other things were correct it would repeat as long as the key is pressed. Whatever is stopping it from repeating cannot be fixed by improving that Pronto Hex nor by relearning it.

Best guess at the problem:

The learned signal is either directly used in some action list or aliased into some action list and it is not the only item in the list.

Anything else in the list (a delay, another learned signal, another alias, goto another panel, etc.) will stop the command from repeating.

johnsfine: That's exactly what happened: The alias started out with a 0.1sec delay, followed by the learned code. Removing the delay fixed the "problem"
Many thanks for your help, johnsfine!!
