I have searched and fiddled and rebooted and reloaded and updated and I STILL CANNOT BEAT THIS MESSAGE.....

I can update the firmware without any issue (so communication is there) but everytime I try to load a CCF (any CCF) I get this same message over and over no matter what I do.....

Someone? Anyone?

Simple steps please......

Thank You In Advance

Frank

Have you tried using Tonto from http://www.giantlaser.com?

Are you tapping the screen to 'wake up' the remote just prior to download?

Since you chose to open a new thread, I can't see the previous history so, this is the best I can do at this time.

I am "waking" the unit up prior to download but it seems that it still will not communicate. I am using a BELKIN USB adapter from CircuitCity and I think that might be the issue. (its one of those PDA adapters).... I have a RC3200 as well and I am getting the same type of errors. I am heading to RadioShack this morning to pick up their adapter, so hopefully everything will resolve itself.

As for the different software, no I have not tried that yet.

Thanks
Frank
