What am I missing that makes volume special?

I have downloaded lots of Panasonic TV CCF files. So far as I recall, they all use the standard Panasonic TV code set. I didn't search carefully, but I didn't notice or recall any of them being missing the vol functions.

I did a quick search just now of my directory of decodes of downloaded CCF files and it saw 86 instances of the Panansonic TV vol commands. The first few were in:

In most CCF files those vol+ and vol- signals have been learned directly onto the hard buttons for vol+ and vol-. If you looked just at lcd buttons you would have missed them. Was that the problem?

Nothing makes volume special, he wanted them posted so he could cut and paste. I just linked to the discrete codes for panny TV's - they're ready to copy. There aren't any vol codes in there, I don't have them, so I couldn't help.

That's funny and the opposite of the usual problem. "I can discretely change to video 18 but I can't turn the fleeking volume down!"
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
