ProntoEdit4.msi file missing

I am having to re-install ProntoEdit and windows XP cannot find ProntoEdit4.msi file.......HELP !!!!

That's probably because ProntoEdit does not use msi files. Msi installers were not around when ProntoEdit was developed.

You can download ProntoEdit4.05.exe from the Files area here.

Peter, that is the file that I tried to open,,,,I downloaded it this morning and when I run the exe file, its looking for the .msi file Whate else am I missing ?

You might have a problem with your system's temporary directory. Too many files, weird directory name, and so forth. When ProntoEdit4.exe is run it extracts several files including "prontoedit 4.msi" to a temporary directory.

Also if you've disabled 8.3 character filenames you need to re-enable them.
