I have done several project with the ProntoPro and i do like the ProntoEdit program for testing, converting and learning all kind of IR codes. To learn commands in the program ProntoEdit you have to connect a Pronto to your computer. Does anyone have a solution with a IR eye on the RS232 port that will work with the ProntoEdit software ?? So in that case i doent have to have a Pronto with met to learn codes.

Any suggestions ??

Unfortunately I think you are out of luck.

From a document in the Files section from Marcell Majoor (I believe that's his name), you will find that the ProntoEdit software actually sends commands to the remote to begin a learn and then the remote reports back the actual Hex Data. As a result, PE cannot learn without the remote.
