I want to control an MP3 Jukebox that resides on my PC with my Philips Pronto. I want to be able to create icons of the albums on the Pronto, then have them play when the button is pressed. It seems like this would be fairly easy to implement, and I was hoping someone had done this already and could make a reccomendation.

Thanks In Advance,

Robert Cook

You did not mention which model you have. This is important due to jacket pictures requiring alot of memory which you may not have.

Might I suggest you read a few posts down about SuperNudelist and try out SuperNudelist from the Pronto Files section unless, that is, you have your heart set on Jacket Pictures. Please be aware that SNL also requires CCFTools. Both programs are available in the Pronto Files Section?

Since you are new to this, I might also suggest that you hit the website in the last post on the SuperNudelist thread: [Link: BruceHartley.com] and Leo Davidson's original SuperNudelist website (from the SNL release notes) http://www.pretentiousname.com.

I am using a Pronto Pro. I reviewed SuperNudeList, but it appears to only work with Carousel CD/DVD players. I have all of my CDs on my home Server, and there should be a way to access those directly without purchasing 3 of the 400 disk carousel units. I guess what I need is a piece of Jukebox software that will run on the PC and be compatible with SuperNudeList.

Any Ideas?

Supernudelist will work with MP3 players. There is a template page which tells it how to access the albums/songs, and it creates the album list automatical;ly from a database.

Supenudelist is VERY flexible.

Lyndel supports it above and beyond the call of duty.

Check Out Bruce Hartley's stuff if you are using a PC Media Player. He did alot of work up front using Girder(software) and IRMan(IR receiver for PC) to allow him to control his collection.
