Marantz TS5000 dim screen.

Yeah I know its well over 6 years old now, but the screen is very dim and backlight doesn't work all that great.

If this can be fixed any suggestions welcome.

Also the mute/channel/volume hard keys are very sticky now - if I take the thing apart am I likely to be able to improve this.

Screen - likely nothing you can do about it, since it's a progressive age thing. However if you can find a new screen, it should improve.

Buttons - disassembling and cleaning the remote might help here. Note that you need a #7 Torx screwdriver (#6 also seems to work), and remember that there's a screw under the label on the back.
