Ok, I know this isn't directly on the pronto topic but a lot of you in here probably have these devices.

SO I've always been a little frustrated with the general and IR unresponsiveness of the DCT-XXXX series digital cable boxes but it was more of a nuisance that a problem... UNTIL NOW.

SO i finally purchased a TiVo, which I absolutely love, but my crappy digital cable box is really causing me trouble. Sometimes the channel changes on the TiVo do not get received in their entirety by the DCT. Normally the first of the 3 digits is missed resulting in 70 which just sits on my cable screen and then goes away.

This would be solved if ANY of a few simple things were to occur.

1) The TiVo sent an enter after ANY channel changes(0-7-0-enter, which when received by the cable box would be 7-0-enter and would still work)

2) the cable box would change to the channel after 1-2 seconds if only 2 digits were entered

But these aren't really viable right now, so my question is, are there any users out there that have reliably working TiVo and DCT-XXXX cable box setups working? and how?
