i have had a RC9200 for about 2 years and the original battery pack lasted for about 18 months. and so i took a brand new battery pack from a TSU3000. it lasted a couple of weeeks and died. the marantz agent swapped over the power supply, docking station and another battery. 3 months later battery dead again. the remote works in the docking station but the batteries are not holding a charge. i spoke to the agencies remote "expert" and he keeps on saying that it was becuase the power supply was not regulated. which it was anyway. has anyone else had this issue?

Haven't seen this before. Normally the complaint is that a full charge doesn't last long. The power supply being unregulated dosn't seem to make much sense to me either, sounds like he didn't know what else to say. Given everything that's been swapped out, it's either REAL bad luck, or the remote itself. Wish I could be of more help.

If you want to try yet another battery, I'd suggest here: [Link: prontowizard.com]. I just bought one and they are better than the original.
