I'm trying to help my brother-in-law with a Marantz RC9200 that he has never been able to get to work since his wife gave it to him over two years ago. Programming was "started" by the store where it was purchased (Oviation in Indianapolis) and he was given information on how to finish it. Guess what, he never did it and now he is clueless.

I called Oviation and they took me through downloading all the software from the Marantz site and said I could find ccfiles here at remotecentral.

I have downloaded and installed the "default" ccl to the remote.

I've browsed through this web site, but I'm not finding what I think I should be finding.

Is there a location for basic control files for standard A/V equipment? For example, they have a Pro1000HD Pioneer TV. Is there a default file for that somewhere?

At this point, Iím not interested in creating macros or other bells. Iíd just like to get the basic functions of the units going and then proceed from there. Iím hoping I donít have to go through the ďlearnĒ routine for this stuff.

I'm reasonably good with electronics, but this one has me baffled.

Thanks, in advance, for any assistance you might be able to offer.

Start here and read this manual.

This will help to explain the software. Then, read the Pronto FAQ.
