Does any one can help me?
I sold 3 Runco Plasmas, with 3 Philips LX8500W, and 3 RU940.
It as been imposible to control the Philips LX8500W. Learns OK but never work.
I tried Philips suport and they know less than I. They ask what is a Philips LX8500W. their own product.
Any ideas????

What model Pronto? It might be important for us to know.

Do ANY of your learned codes work, or NONE of them work?

I suggest you read the FAQs, searching for information on learning techniques. The Pronto can sometimes leanr the code wrong but give an OK indication.

Try all the possibilities: new batteries, darkened room, try different distances between the Pronto and the LX8500W remote, learn several different ways and see if one process works more reliably than the others.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Sorry Ernie,

I've been travelling.
I've been programing Prontos for a few years, some times with crazy needs, but is the 1st time that I have this kind of problem. The RU 940 is the European verszion of the TS2000.
The main problem is that I learned the codes in a lote of ways, but looks like the LX5800 get confused and do diferent order than the ones I gave. There are a few codes that work OK like source select; stand by; play; stop, and ff; fw, but volume+ works 90% of the times and volume- never work. Some times if I select radio chanel EX. 3, the answer is start going donw at the volume and then every code I send will go volume down. I'm going crazy.

Thanks
