I think the main key to navigating the site is using the controls at the very top of the screen. Everything flows from there. As with any site with thousands of pages of content, you have to figure out the basic organizational concept and then everything should be clear.
I think I can get to any major section/review/article on the site with two or three clicks from any other page on the site... I mean I'm using the site a lot as well, so I don't see any reason to make MY life harder than necessary! :-)

I definetly think it is easy. On he other hand like anything, it does help to know what you are looking for.
