Hello, I've recently bought a Pronto RU950. I've been playing around with it and Pronto edit for a while and I've been studying these forums with interest.

Because of recommendations in these forums, and after a few visits to www.prontoguide.com, I decided to buy Prontoguide. However when I go to the website now, either directly through links (including the link on this site for batteries at www.prontowizard.com) or by typing in the URL a log-in window pops up! This happened when I tried it from work and also again just now from home.

I had decided to buy the guide but it has proved to be more difficult than I thought. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

When you bought the guide, you should have received an email with a user and password. You enter those in this Window (the technical term is dialog).

Also, the correct forum to use for the 950 is the Pronto NG forum.

Peter I am sorry if I am using the wrong forum but I thought that the Prontoguide would be used by anyone using the Pronto and as this forum had the most posts it seemed to be as good a place as any to get a helpful answer.

Thanks for the information Lyndel, but I was going to the site to buy the guide and I didn't have this problem when I went to the site last week.

Anyway, I went to the site again today and there was no problem so I guess it was just a glitch in the system! I will now attempt to purchase the guide.

Thanks for your replies.

The Pronto Guide is for the Pronto NG, not the original Pronto which is quite different.
