Hello all,

I think I may have damaged my TSU6000 to the point I need to have the screen repaired. I was dozing on othe couch this afternoon and managed to knock the remote off the coffee table. There are no cracks or breaks in the screen.

Now, it works, but, I can barely see anything on the screen... just a faint outline of the buttons. The screens do change, but again, all I can see id a faint outline of the buttons.

From what I described, do I need a new screen? Could some cable have jarred loose from the fall? How do I take the thing apart to check? I see two torx screws inside the battery compartment, but that's all.

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried adjusting the contrast?

Yes, fully from one end of the wheel turn to the other.

I DON'T see any colors other than gray either. It almost looks like the screens show up in a very faint photo negative, only in black & white instead of color.

Hmmmm - I'd suggest making sure the ribbon cable is all the way in and that the soldered parts connecting the screen to the main board did not open... I doubt it is the screen itself...

I can do that... I'm good at taking things apart... it's the getting them back together that proves to be the hard part.

Are there instructions somewhere that detail what tools I need, how to take it apart, etc? I know, I know... I can search...
