Yep, its finally all pushed out... I have what appears to be a depressed spot at the top of my ProntoPro screen. I tried to revert the unit and it has become locked into the calibration screen without a cancel button. Its like the screen is being continually pushed. Anyone know where I might buy a replacement screen?

Mike, Do a forum search +Replace +6000 +Screen for the last 3-6 months. That Forum Search link at the top of this page is really handy if you know what to look for.

I just bought a replacement screen(TSU-7000) from fixyourpda.com for $160.00. It is the same screen for the HP Ipaq5400. But you might be able to buy just the digitizer.

I'll figure it out by the time you wake up tomorrow. Good Night |

The screen for the 7000 is NOT the screen used for the ProntoPro (TSU6000).

Does the TSU7000 and IPAQ 5400 have the same ribbon cable? Meaning, when you take the TSU7000 apart, you lift up on the large ribbon cable tab and pull and push side ways to remove the small cable. I just want to make sure there is no soldering or any modifications needed to make this work.
Hitekmobile - If you just bought the screen and stuck it in and it worked, this would be good information to know. Thanks again!!! It is forums like this that make the Internet soooo powerful.
