G,day. I asked the guys at KAONMEDIA for the Power off codes for my STB and they sent me this. I have tried entering these codes in protoedit as is but it but it wont accept them.

KAON IR POWER KEY CODE VALUE,
CUSTOM : 0x2008
DATA : 0x0A

i am not even shure that this is what i need.

Any help would be apreciated.

Do you have an original remote? I assume it wouldn't have the Power Off command, but if you can post Pronto Hex for ANY command for the same device, that will eliminate the ambiguity in "custom:0x2008, data:0x0A" so any of the experts here could then give you Pronto Hex for that command.

Otherwise it would need either additional information, or several attempts (there are a limited number of likely meanings for those custom and data values, and each could be tried).
