They are in the files section. HLN series or HLN617W. BTW, depending on the vintage of your set, you may not have the ability to use discrete codes.

I have the same TV. You can find the discrete power codes and inputs in the hex code section of this site under Samsung HDTVs. BTW, how do you like the set? Absolutely marvelous hi-def picture.

The Hex Code section is the Components sub-section of the Pronto Files section.

Download the HLN-617W file from this page.

I want to know if these codes work as I am very interested in the purchase of one of these TVs.

Lyndel, the codes work. The problem is some of the earlier Samsung sets did not support discrete commands. They are all supposed to at this point but my distributor tells me that sometime that is not the case. The 46 and 56 are a lock for the codes to work and I haven't seen a non discrete 50 or 61 for a while. If I were you I would wait for the HLP line coming out soon with the HD2 chip.

Shoe,

The codes may not work if you have an HLN507W and not an HLN507W1 model. I found a website that listed differences. It appears that the 'W' models may not support discretes. The 'W1' models may. Additionally the site reported that the HLM507W supports discretes where the HLN507W does not.

I'm on a different PC (otherwise, I'd post the link) at this point but I did a Yahoo search for "+HLN507W +discrete" and found this site as #3 I believe from the list.
