I found a deal where I can get a Philips Pronto TSU2000 Universal Remote & DS1000 Dock for $135.
Is this a good deal? Is the 2000 worth it?

Sure...especially if it is new. The TSU-2000 is a nice remote and pretty solid. It's retail just last year was $300 and the docking station retailed for $80

Agreed. I have been watching the ebay prices on this and that is nicely in the ballpark for "just like new" ones.
