Help. I have a TSU2000 Pronto with a .ccf that I have created for it. I have been given an RU890 model and am trying to download my .ccf file into it but get an error message: "Error downloading configuration into RC device". I'm using ProntoEdit version 4.0.5.

The RU890 had been used in the US as its .ccf file shows American networks, etc. Is it perhaps a file size issue? My .ccf file is 259 kb.

Any thoughts will be most appreciated.

Thanks.

How much free memory is there?

Pronto TSU2000: 960kb.

Pronto RU-890: 380kb.

It looks like it's not a size issue. However, the only problem that you will have is the UDB of ir codes. The tsu 2000, while the ru 890 has non, but philips. This shouldn't give you an error of downloading though. It just won't allow you to use the UDB.

There is a trick, though, to download. Touch the screen just before download or upload. As to wake up the remote before the process.
