I posted this yesterday but didnt get an answer, so here it is again. I just bought a refurbed Pronto pro. The question is, is the backlight on the entire length of the left side or just the bottom half left side. Just want to make sure I got a good one. It seemed odd to me the light was from the bottom left half only. I appreciate the help.

Thanks

Well, I'm not sure, but on my Marantz 9200 it looks to be slightly brighter in the bottom left corner.

Wow - someone's impatient.

Geek,

Thank you so much for your helpful and constructive comment. Maybe I was not clear that I had just recieved the unit and wanted to make sure it was working properly, and return it while I still could. Again, thanks so much, you have been a great help.

Nevermind, I had a replacement sent and it is much better. It turns out for some reason the screen on the first one is 1/4 as bright as the second one. Yes I had turned up the brightness in the setup. All is well now. What a difference. The people at Surf Remote Control were great. No problem

Thanks
