Hey all. I haven't posted in over a year. I have a TS-1000 and I am currently at the following version levels:
Sys V3.5 [06/01/1999 07:21]
App V4.8b1 [06/01/1999 07:20]
File Version 3.2 [07/21/2002 13:18]

For the first time since 2002 I need to update my pronto. I am in a time crunch and couldn't quickly find the answer in the FAQ.

What are the steps?

upload new firmware first, then the new CCF?

Are there any "gotchas" I need to be aware of. I had previously used PE 1.03 and this will be the first time I will be uploading from PE4. Any problem there?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

David

LOL Print the FAQ and read it while in the john! (crapper that is...)

Just to be safe, upload your current CCF from the Pronto and save to a file on disc.

Then

Download firmware, then the CCF. You may have to 'tap' the screen to get the CCF or firmware download to begin.

This would be the only gotcha.
