Hello all,

Just got a (used) TSU2000 and have been pulling out the little hair I have left trying to figure out:

1) How to stop it from toggling the TV on/off whenever I go from another device (e.g. VCR) to TV by pressing the HOME key, then pressing TV.

There are no macros, I have reset it to default in case the last user did something kinky, and tried all the Hitachi setting choices (all 15 -- see below). I even tried to delete the ON / OFF keys. I cannot stop it from turning it off (which is what it usually does since it is on).

2) How to get all the keys to work correctly for the new Hitachi 46F500 I just got. About 1/3 of the keys do not do what they are suppose to (picked Hitachi-1, the only one that worked). For example, SIZE on PIP changes channels. And I cannot find a key that will change inputs.

BTW, I did download/install the latest firmware, and also downloaded the pronto editor software. I have begun playing with it, but it is even more confusing -- isn't there a way to say "46F500" and have it 'attach' the proper codes to the desired key?

Any helpful hints are appreciated.

Thanks!

A4-02 I've got a TSU2000. Why does my TV keep turning off?

Also it would be to read all, or most of the FAQs too.
