hello,
I broke my rc5000 LCD panel.
I found on this forum a lot of usefull information.
Il' ready to order a new LCD at earthlcd.com.
The "problem" is that i found this reference:
SAMSUNG UG24U01WGHT3A .
After reading all the post here, i still don't know
if this model is all right for a rc5000 ?
Some says yes and some other says no !
I ask the earthlcd, the answer was:

The "A" version is completely the same as the "B" version except for 1 resistor on the backside that is slightly larger in size, but has been sold as a replacement for the "B" version and had no complaints.

So, is there someone who buy this exact lcd and work fine with rc5000 ?

Thanks and sorry for my bad english.
Bye

It should work, but if you have an early remote you MAY need to cut some plastic out of the inside of the case where the resister is (there's already an existing hole, but it isn't in the right spot for the new screen).

Thanks Daniel for your answer (and your website!).
My rc5000 is an "old" one (1999). Is that manipulation easy for a guy like me with 2 left hands ?

If you do not feel comfortable doing it, take it to an electronics repair shop and get them to do it.
